- 1 / 5By Christopher HastingsFirst of all, the name of a rip-off of the seafood restaurant that WAS in Somerset, Captain PJ's. The new place isn't related. Second, the prices are RIDICULOUS! This isn't Boston, it is the southcoast, and when wholesale lobster is $2.99/lb, there is NO reason for a 1/4 lb lobster roll to be $15!
Finally, last but certainly not least, the owner does not stand behind his word. I purchased a gift certificate for $15, and he refused to honor it! I met all of the restrictions in hte fine print, and he still refused to honor the gift certificate. Because he said I had to spend another $2. On a $20+ order. AND he was a jerk about it. As far as I am concerned, he can keep his overpriced lobster roll, I'm going to go up the road to a REAL seafood joint!June 01, 2016
